Business Overview:
The US Agency Securities Lending Operations group supports two functions.
Agency Lending Business:
Settlements, Mark to market, Corporate Actions, Income, Returns, Billing, Reconciliation
• Processes trade instructions to custodians to ensure proper settlement of lending and reinvestment activity.
• Serves as a primary contact with custodians and is responsible for the timely completion and reconciliation of trade settlements. Collateral Management:
The Operations team is responsible for the end-to-end trade cycle of Derivative instruments for US & overseas investments for Institutional Investors, across various product types, including ETD's, CFD's, OTC and Repo's.
• Trade Capture, Timely manner matched and settled,
• Reconciliations with Counterparties
• Manage daily margin calls with brokers.
• Accurate valuation, collateralization
• Ongoing interaction with several custodians and brokers.
• Client Account Management - Manage the client queries in timely fashion. BNP Paribas US Operations is part of a global operations offering support to our clients in all major markets.
• US Market experience is required, EMEA and APAC market knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in Securities Lending is Required.
• Experience in Repo's and Collateral Management is Required.

• Client Service Delivery and Controls
• To ensure a high-quality client service is delivered to all clients
• Ensure the service level provided by the global team adheres to the Client Service Delivery agreements. Provide feedback to management on work performed by Analysts.
• Ensure adherence to core standard operating models.
• Build strong, professional relationships with clients and be an ambassador for BNP Paribas. Utilize experience and understanding of OTC instruments to educate clients.
• Develop internal stakeholder relationships with the wider team as well as general business support.
• Coordinate workflow with global teams to ensure coverage for client needs.
• Support external counterparty relationships e.g., Brokers, Custodians & Industry bodies.
• Continuous Improvement & New Business
• Capitalize on knowledge and experience to generate ideas for improvements to systems and processes in support of client requirements and BNP Paribas Securities Service strategic objectives. Support the development and implementation of such improvements.
• Involvement in the design and implementation of resilient processes and systems to support new/changes to business products including mandatory changes to market/governance and regulations.
• Innovate & challenge status quo within the governance and framework of our change program.
• Be a subject matter expert on your team and offer training and support to global team Analysts.
• Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to the risk and control framework to manage risk effectively & efficiently within the team.
• Ensure an effective and robust governance structure is in place for the team.
• Support business contingency plans as required.
• Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to mitigate operational risk.
• Ensure that internal and external audit/compliance/risk requirements are met. Minimum Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree plus a minimum of 4 to 5 years' experience in finance market
Preferred Qualifications:
• Essential o Strong experience in a wide range of Derivative products (mainly in OTC) to level of SME
o Strong understanding of NAV and pricing impact of OTC Derivative events
o Strong understanding of OTC Derivative collateral service delivery process
o Strong understanding of Agency Lending
o Strong understanding of Repo's and Collateral Management
o Strong Risk Management Awareness
o Strong knowledge of Market intermediaries

• Not Applicable The expected starting salary range for this position is between $95,000 to $115,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
